Web Development

Learn the language of the Web and build interactive Web Pages that pop. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript students will learn the fundamentals to all three languages and how they interact with each other within underlying functions of the web browser. While learning to program with these languages students will practice planning, writing, and presenting in order to showcase their finished projects.

 

MIT App Builder

Build better with blocks and learn the fundamentals to App Design. Using MIT App Builder students will learn to ideate, build UX, and put computer logic into practice. With the power of a visual builder for the programming of the interface and logic material is easy to follow and easy to implement.

 

React

Learn to build interfaces using one of the most popular Frameworks in the world. Using in browser software students will learn to utilize the React JS library and build interactive data driven interfaces. Starting with planning and scaling to in class production students will learn the processes of Agile Development and how to use it for their projects.

 

Tech Literacy

Our intro to computer use course teaches students the basics of everyday computer science as well as providing guidance for common software. In this course, the student will learn to master their keyboards, effectively navigate the Windows operating systems and learn how to use common software in order to work from home if needed.

Best practices

Outside of learning basic computer skills, students will learn best practices to keep themselves safe on online platforms

Hands-on Learning

Students will have a chance to practice the skills they are going to be learning during each class and learn typing skills at the end of each class.
