Teaching Assistant
Support the lead instructor in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring every student receives the individual attention they need to succeed, assisting with the classroom setup, and teardown.
Time Commitment: 1-2 Hours per visit. This can be a one-time guest appearance or a recurring weekly or monthly visit.
Curriculum Writer
Design, write, and refine engaging, age-appropriate coding lesson plans, project prompts, and slide decks based on the educational goals set by the Programming Director.
Time commitment: 5-10 Hours per Month. This typically ranges from a project to project basis.


Industry Expert (Curriculum Advisory Board)
Help Code on Wheels ensure educational programming remains relevant, impactful, and aligned with current industry standards by providing strategic guidance, reviewing curriculum, and advising on tech trends.
Time Commitment: Remote/Asynchronus. Approximately 2-3 hours per month, or concentrated around quarterly advisory meetings and major curriculum launches.
Industry Mentor / Guest Speaker
Inspire students by sharing real-world tech experiences, demonstrating practical applications of the coding, and highlighting diverse, achievable career pathways in the technology sector.
Time Commitment: 1-2 Hours per visit. This can be a one time guest appearance or a recurring monthly visit. (Can occasionally be done remotely via video call).
